Can't ask for more - devastated city, big guns at our disposal, hot girl by me and lots of zombies to shoot in the head. |
Red alert!
This is an automatic distress call.
It appears Research messed up one of their experiments (again), and a large area of the city of San Francisco became a radioactive waste! Worse, zombies started crawling all over, eating people's brains and turning them into other zombies!
Are they aliens from another planet? Did research open a portal to a hellish dimension? Or is it just the dead rising up? Come and find out! There are still survivors in a shelter and we gotta help them!
Kal Aie out.
This was the briefing for the exercise we had Friday 13th. Come to think of it, it was the perfect day for that event. Didn't realize that till now.
Anyway, it was a major success, everyone involved had a good two hour of fun. Nothing like shooting zombies in the head. There were some radioactive super grown cockroaches and floating brains as well.
The event was actually a competition, each participant had to keep the zombies off themselves and gather 4 vital items for the nuclear shelter, hidden within the devastated city.
The scenario was planned and built by the genius of Steve Atlanta. He gently lend us a copy and we honored it by putting to the test. We can have much more fun exercises and roleplays in that scenario.
Assistant Tactical Lead MCPO Dustin Thunderstorm helped me with preparations. We had a briefing in the new War Room of Tactical Office, and teleported to the shelter. Nemesis Nissondorf, Roy Lang, Snapper Desade, Night Runer and Recruit Kaleaon also attended.
In the end, Nemesis got first place, Roy Lang second, Dustin and Night Runer third place, and snapper fourth place, but he was taking pictures, and did a damn fine job at it. You can check it all here:

We left the place with a sense of fullfilled duty and lots of busted open zombie heads littering the floor, as it should be.
Qapla'!
Lt. Kal Aie, Tactical Ops Director
